This dungeon has been reworked in the Gameplay Update and is now called Underworld Crypt.
Overview[]
The Zombie Dungeon was the 4th dungeon in terms of difficulty, in which level 27 or higher players were recommended, however the player shouldn't have attempted to solo the dungeon until they were at least level 40. The dungeon contained multiple obstacles deadly to unprepared or underleveled players. A large amount of level 26 Dungeon zombies spawned all over the dungeon, dealing damage even to high-level players.
Also known as the wooden crypt; this dungeon was once just a hole where bodies were buried, before Saint's Row graveyard was built. Since then, the undead have risen from their tombs. Unable to leave the crypt, they wander endlessly, waiting for some curious adventurers to sate their hunger.
Guide[]
Phase 1[]
The first phase was a large room with a lot of Zombies, and large stone piles. The player had to fight through the Zombies and reach the other end of the room to reach the next phase.
Phase 2[]
The second phase was a long, but easy parkour, marked with red carpet.
Phase 3[]
In the third phase, you'd need to put something on the weighted pressure plates in the eyes of each of the giant skulls, which were located on the sides of the room. After you did that, the door to the fourth phase would open.
Phase 4[]
The fourth phase was another fighting challenge, and was completed by reaching the other side of the room.
Boss Phase[]
The boss of this dungeon was Charon, a level 38 Zombie with 4000 points of health and he spawned level 25 zombies to help him. At the sides of the room were Wall Traps located, which would fire arrows if the player would come to close to the wall.
Tips[]
- By using a horse in the battle phases, you could easily avoid most damage.
Trivia[]
The boss, Charon, is named after the Greek ferryman of Hades, which would bring you to the other side of the Styx.
