The Potato Imp is a level 24 Imp that spawns on the remote Potato Island. It is a baby zombie villager with a potato in its hand, armoured with a white leather chestplate and a set of black leather boots. The Imp spawns inside the potato hoard on Potato Island, and will attack players that enter by throwing small seeds at them.
When killed, if the player has a high loot bonus and is lucky, the Imp has a chance of dropping a Rare Potato.
Trivia
- Judging from its armour and (seemingly) unlimited access to potatoes, it is possible that the Imp has been placed in an attempt to guard the potatoes inside the Potato Hoarder's hoard.
- There are six other types of Imps. These are the Emerald Imp and the 5 Powder Imps.
- There was previously also a Gunpowder Imp, but it was removed in the 1.18 Economy Update.
