Platinum Ingot is a Tier 0 Crafting Ingredient. It also serves as a currency in Thanos.
Obtaining[]
Platinum Ingots are dropped by various bandits in the Canyon of the Lost and can also be found in Loot Chests. The player is also rewarded 40 Platinum Ingots upon finishing the quest From the Bottom. There is a "Platinum Dealer Merchant" on the second level of Thanos where you can buy 1 Platinum Ingot for 96 emeralds, or 4 for 384 emeralds. Alternatively, you may sell 1 Platinum Ingot for 24 emeralds, or 8 Platinum Ingots for 192 emeralds from the same Dealer Merchant.
Usage[]
Platinum Ingot can be sold at a Blacksmith or from your Ingredient Pouch in exchange for Emeralds. It can also be traded to other players via the Trade Market or personal trading.
Trading[]
The Accessory Merchant, the Armour Merchant and the Weapon Merchant in the Thanos Bazaar take Platinum Ingots for some trades. The Platinum Dealer Merchant allows you to exchange Platinum Ingot for Emeralds.
Crafting[]
Platinum Ingot can be used in the Armouring and Weaponsmithing professions to add a small amount of loot bonus to the crafted item at the cost of lowering walk speed and durability.
