The Scam Merchant was a joke NPC Merchant that appeared in VIP Town. You could sell to him 64 Emeralds for a lower price of 32 Emeralds, only losing half of the amount of Emeralds you paid him. He was removed in the 1.12 Mob Update, along with the VIP Town.

- Some players still mourn the loss of this merchant and take to the chat to protest for his return.
- However, he did return in the Gavel Update as a retired scam merchant. He is located near the Llevigar Port, at -1888 34 -4237.
