Caid is a Fruman sailor living in the Wynn Province. Unfortunately, he got his boat stuck in a river by Elkurn, so during the quest Recover the Past he asks the player to brew a shrinking potion for the boat to get it out. In exchange, Caid agrees to let Dr. Picard test his memories to try to figure out why Fruma is sending so many people, all with no memories, over the border.
It is revealed that Caid was a Fruman outlaw who was friends with a resident in the slums, Edwin. He would steal some supplies from the Fruman Royal Guard, also known as the Kai Shi, before they arrive at the scene. Edwin flees instantly while Caid was taken by them. In Reynauld's memory, it is also revealed that they were both partners-in-crime in stealing some supplies from the Fruman Royal Guard. After Caid was caught, he revealed his association with Reynauld, resulting in both of them getting sent to a prison. His memories of Fruma would later be erased and he would later be sent to Wynn.

- Sailor Caid: Stupid- ship! Get out of there! How did I even- manage to do this!?
- Sailor Caid: Huh? Oh! I- ah, nothing to see here! Just... just taking a look at my good old ship! Yup!
After Recover the Past[]
- Sailor Caid: ...Oh. Hello. My boat's back to normal, if you haven't noticed.
- Sailor Caid: I... can't really bring myself to care, though. Maybe I should just stay here, a while.
- Sailor Caid: You know, even though watching my memories was unpleasant, I can't say it wasn't worth it. I've started recovering bits and pieces.
- Sailor Caid: I had a sister, back there. We drifted apart a bit, before the end. She didn't really approve of what I was doing.
- Sailor Caid: ...She must still be there, come to think of it. I hope she's doing well.

Caid is located in front of a large boat at the west side of Elkurn.
Trivia[]
- It was possible to spawn multiple instances of Caid by repeatedly moving away from and back towards his spawn point after shrinking his boat. Additionally, all of these separate instances will follow you anywhere, and teleport to you if they are too far away. This would become a joke within the Wynncraft community.
- Caid's original life in Fruma was him saving a resident in the village he was in, Cara, from prison. He would later get sent to prison and meet up with another prisoner, Edwin. Caid warns Edwin of the nature of the prison before the latter was sent to a room where his memories were wiped.
