The Rare Rose is a Level 5 Mob that resides only on one pillar in the Mesa. It drops a Rare Rose item, which is required by the Hermit during the Canyon Condor quest.
When given the quest to find a Rare Rose, the only clue given is that it is on top of one of the pillars. This makes the Rare Rose hard to find, but it is direct north-west from the Hermit (his cave faces the direction of the pillar). On the northern side of the Mesa near the border with the Desert, there is a pillar with wooden platforms around it. To get to the top, some parkour is required.
