Finding The Light
The Ultimate Weapon
The Light Forest is the southern region of the large forest in Gavel. It is an enchanting beacon of light which is untainted by the decay that plagues it's gloomy counterparts, the Dark and Kander Forests. However, it has been hinted at that what's left of the Light Forest may not survive if greed and decay continue to prosper in Gavel, and it will eventually succumb to the decay if nothing is done to prevent it. It is notable as being the residence for the immortal elves in Efelim and Aldorei, as well as a few hobbits such as Dodegar Bandysnoot that occupy a small village in the south area of the forest. The forest is also home to the Light Portal, a link between the realm of Gavel and Wynn to the Realm of Light, which faces a problem very similar to that of the Light Forest's struggle against the decay. To the west of the forest is Llevigar Plains, and to the east is Cinfras County.
Points of Interest[edit | edit source]
Cities[edit | edit source]
- Aldorei Valley - Arguably the most prominent city of the forest-native Elves, the lush valley is host to characteristically towering yellow and green structures above flowing rivers and waterfalls. Few Humans have been fortunate enough to witness the city, as the Elves will only permit the most deemed worthy into their Elven metropolis. Though enormous buildings dot the valley, the Elves' traditions of selflessness render it to be void of merchants and amenities.
- Efelim - A collaborative settlement of Villagers and Elves in the northwest forest, Efelim is a small peaceful village residing around a pond below the canopies of the forest. Though it lacks merchants, Efelim is not completely insignificant as it is host to the Shattered Minds quest.
Areas[edit | edit source]
- The Light Realm Arch - Just between two small stones a wooden arch pronounced with a white symbol resides. It designates the entrance to the Light Portal, however it will not reveal itself to those who lack a certain kind of eyesight (as explored in Finding The Light).
