Biography[]
Garaheth is a powerful being who plays an important role in Dogun mythos, being venerated by the Doguns as the "Mighty Garaheth": a deity who breathed life, in the form of his eternal flame, into their physical bodies, which are told to be made out of stone from the Canyon Colossus. The verity of this legend has not been confirmed.[1][2]
At some point in time, an immense, Colosseum-like temple was built in the Upper Molten Heights, dedicated to the mighty demon. Though Garaheth's role in the centuries-long Dogun War is not fully known, it was his imprisonment by the hand of the invading Dwarves in 300 AP that finally led the Doguns to surrender, therefore ending the war, but also starting the genocide of nearly their entire race.[3] It seems that, throughout the years, the Doguns' opinion of Garaheth turned from one of absolute adoration, to a generally mixed one, to the point where he is even referred to as a "horrible demon" by one of them.[2]
In the present day, the Dogun Chieftain, who led the last few surviving Doguns in the Dogun's Retreat, tried to bring Garaheth back from his realm, where he was sealed, as a last-ditch effort to stop the Dwarves from killing off the remaining Doguns, and also as an act of revenge for their wrongdoings in the war centuries prior. Although the breaking of the demon's seal was successful, eventually Garaheth was defeated for good thanks to the player's actions, finally leading to negotiations between the Dwarves and the Doguns.[4]
Inside Garaheth[]
In Dwarves and Doguns Part IV, the player is tasked to enter the body of Garaheth armed with the Staff of True Ice to freeze the four organs inside him, stopping his attack on the entire Province.
When you enter Garaheth, you will fight a number of mobs and destroy 4 organs.
