Its Thunder damage is highly variable, and the lack of Neutral damage renders it nearly useless against mobs who resist or are immune to Thunder; however, it gives powerful damage bonuses to both spells and basic damage, as well as a huge buff to Dexterity, further increasing damage dealt.
