The Assassin is one of the five playable classes in Wynncraft and uses Daggers as its weapon. Known for its deceptive capabilities and high damage output, the Assassin creates sneaky pathways to their opponent and then launches a deadly surprise attack. The Assassin is a great damage-dealer with decent defensive stats, but little burst-fire range. The Assassin holds the record as the second-highest dealer of damage per second, just after Archer. The Smoke Bomb spell is the Assassin's strongest spell, punishing foes with exceptionally high damage output with its DoT (damage over time).

Spells[edit | edit source]

The Assassin uses a variety of spells meant to quickly damage enemies while not take damage itself.

Spin Attack[edit | edit source]

The Assassin's first spell, unlocked immediately at level 1, is the Spin Attack. Upgrades for the Spin Attack are unlocked by reaching levels 16 and 36. This spell attacks all mobs within a 5 block radius and helps in the Assassin's crowd control potential.

Grade II (Lv.16)[edit | edit source]

  • + Disease: freeze enemies hit by the attack for 1 second

Grade III (Lv.36)[edit | edit source]

  • Mana: 6
  • Damage: 150%
  • + Vampire: steals all the positive effects your opponent has, and clean all the negative ones you have
  • Thunder Damage: +30%

Vanish[edit | edit source]

The second spell, unlocked at level 11, is Vanish. Upgrades for the Vanish are unlocked by reaching levels 26 and 46. This spell makes the player invisible to everything and is useful for providing safety from mobs and players if you are in a duel for a short period of time. The spell will end abruptly if the player delivers or receives any damage while invisible. When casted, you will be propelled 13 blocks toward the direction you are facing.

Grade II (Lv.26)[edit | edit source]

  • Mana: 1
  • Duration: 5 seconds
  • + Stealth: 80% damage bonus and 15% resistance while vanished. The damage bonus lasts an additional 2 second after the spell ends.

Grade III (Lv.46)[edit | edit source]

  • Mana: 1
  • Duration: 5 seconds
  • + Shadow Travel: gives speed 5 while vanished

Multihit[edit | edit source]

The third spell, unlocked at level 21, is the Multihit. Upgrades for Multihit are unlocked by reaching levels 36 and 56. This spell hits the target(s) multiple times in a row, knocking back the enemy(ies) in the process. It is useful for flinging enemies out of range in case of emergency. If you hold shift, its knockback will be negated.

  • + Fatality: hit another time at the end, knocking back the enemy and causing 120% Damage
  • Thunder Damage: +30% (last hit)
  • Water Damage: +15% (last hit)

  • Damage: 30% per hit
  • Hits: 10
  • + Force: you can control the enemies trapped in your multihits by moving your head left or right
  • Thunder Damage: +30%
  • Water Damage: +30% (last hit)

Smoke Bomb[edit | edit source]

The fourth and final spell for the Assassin, unlocked at level 31, is the Smoke Bomb. Upgrades for the Smoke Bomb are unlocked by reaching levels 46 and 66. This spell is the only ranged attack of the assassin. It causes the player to throw a smoke bomb that deals very hefty damage to enemies and slows them down in the process, enabling for extra hits with the basic attack. The smoke bomb has a radius for its range of about 2.5 blocks.

  • Earth Damage: +15%
  • Air Damage: +20%

Grade II (Lv.46)[edit | edit source]

  • Mana: 8
  • Damage: 60% every second for 5 seconds
  • + Choke: greatly slow down the enemies while they are in the smoke
  • Earth Damage: +25%
  • Air Damage: +20%

Grade III (Lv.66)[edit | edit source]

  • Mana: 8
  • Damage: 60% every second for 5 seconds
  • + Wall of Smoke: throw 3 smoke bombs at the same time, creating a large wall of smoke
  • Earth Damage: +25%
  • Air Damage: +25%

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In the inventory and third-person view, the player will be able to see their armour while invisible, but other players will not.
  • Although it deals the highest base damage, it does not have weapons with the highest damage.
  • It Has the second highest damage potential for a spell in the game. If every hit lands, Smoke Bomb deals 1640% total damage. The most damaging spell in the game is the Archer’s Arrow Storm.
  • The highest-damaging Assassin weapon is the mythic Cataclysm.
  • Prior to the historic revision to Minecraft's EULA in June 2014 that forbade giving gameplay advantages to donators on multiplayer networks, the Assassin was a donator-exclusive class.
  • The Assassin and Archer are the only two classes whose Attribute ratings are all four different numbers.
