Precision is the key to victory. The archer sits comfortably at range to decimate their enemies with powerful projectiles. Evading and dodging enemies attacks is crucial to the playstyle of this class. Archers dish out huge amounts of damage, but aren’t so adept at defending themselves.

The Archer is one of the five playable classes in Wynncraft and uses a bow as its weapon. With a base defence rating of 60% and the most damaging weapon class in the game, the Archer is notorious for being a glass cannon. With low defense, Archers need to constantly regain health, whether through Life Steal, a Mage's Heal spell or Health Potions.

Spells[edit | edit source]

The Archer spells vary from helpful utility spells to high-damage spells devastating in combat both against single enemies and groups.

Arrow Storm[edit | edit source]

The Archer's first spell, unlocked immediately at level 1, is Arrow Storm. Upgrades for the Arrow Storm spell are unlocked by reaching levels 16 and 36. This spell expels tens of arrows in rapid succession. As you level up the skill, each stage lowers the damage per arrow, but increases overall damage by raising the amount of arrows.

  • + Triple Shot: triple the amount of arrows you shoot at the same time

Escape[edit | edit source]

The second spell, unlocked at level 11, is Escape. Upgrades for the Escape spell are unlocked by reaching levels 26 and 46. This spell throws a player high up backwards into the air to Escape mobs (or climb obstacles). When upgraded, this spell grants Speed Boost III to themselves and everyone around them. Escape is a fast way to travel if you don't have horse, as it carries you large distances if you spam it right.

  • + Speed: adds speed to the caster and people around for 3 minutes

Grade III (Lv.46)[edit | edit source]

  • + Surprise Strike: holding shift while falling will now damage enemies for 100% damage and blind them for 1 seconds
  • Air Damage: +50%

Bomb Arrow[edit | edit source]

The third spell, unlocked at level 21, is the Bomb Arrow. Upgrades for the Bomb Arrow spell are unlocked by reaching levels 36 and 56. This spell shoots an explosive arrow that hits all mobs within 3-5 blocks around the impact area. At the last upgrade of the ability, this Bomb Arrow will bounce around three times, which is useful when farming.

  • + Leg Breaking: slows down and prevents from the enemy from jumping for 4 seconds

  • Damage: 250%
  • + Bounce: the arrow will now bounce up to three times
  • Fire Damage: +15%
  • Earth Damage: +25%

Arrow Shield[edit | edit source]

The fourth and final spell for the Archer, unlocked at level 31, is the Arrow Shield. Upgrades for the Arrow Shield spell are unlocked by reaching levels 46 and 66. This spell casts a shield of arrows around the Archer, which will be activated by any enemy within close range of the caster. When the shield is triggered, nearby enemies will be knocked back, stunned and damaged.

  • + Arrow Rain: throw a bunch of arrows in the sky, damaging anything hit for 250%

  • Air Damage: +30% (for falling arrows)

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Archer was the last class to have a player reach level 70, back when that was the highest level achievable.
  • An archer can reach many unreachable places due to the ability of the Escape spell.
  • Archers used to be the most fragile class, having a Defense rating of only one point. As of the Silent Expanse Update, this lot has fallen to the Shaman, who boasts a Defense rating of zero.
  • In Wynncraft's early days, the Archer required a stack of arrows in its inventory. Because of this, all classes had to have arrows to keep the inventory space fair.
  • Archer is one of the three classes that can operate either side of Bob's Tomb and open it up. The others are Mage and Assassin.
  • The Archer is the only class whose spell combinations are reversed.
  • The Archer and Assassin are the only two classes whose Attribute ratings are all four different numbers.
